Jill Carrington holds a B.A. from Pomona College and both masters and doctoral degrees in art history from Syracuse University. Professor Carrington teaches both Art History Surveys and courses in Greek and Roman, Italian Renaissance, Northern Renaissance, Baroque art, and Imaging the Body. Carrington’s research in late Medieval and Renaissance sculpture has earned her the following national and international awards: Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation Grant, 1987-88, 1995-96, 2000-2001; Samuel H. Kress Foundation Fellowship, 1986-87.
